We had been uploading to our social networks different pictures about the required skills for every position based in our model. Now it is time to publish the final step, the slide share with all of them.
It is clear than in soccer there are many systems of play, because of that first of all I wanted to specify where this positions apply:
First of all our model of play is based in a combinative play from the start. So if you want to play direct you probably need to look for another profile of players. Of course even in a combinative way there a lot of refinements, so you may need to look for a small differences in the skills of the players.
Let’s go with the position:
GK – Goalkeeper for every system of course!
CB – Centerback for a line of 4 or 3 defenders.
R/L Back – In this case this apply for a line of 4 or 5 defenders.
CM – This could apply for any system in the middle.
R/L Wingers – This position could be for the Left or Right midfields of a 1-4-4-2, 1-4-1-4-1 or 1-4-2-3-1 and as well for the side forwards of a system with a forward line of 3 players.
ST – Any system of play, the center striker.
